DICTIONARY
TERMS EVERY EBAYER SHOULD KNOW
BIDDING= In an auction this is how your buyer ups how much they are willing to pay, they start with the price you specify and the bidding continues until your auction ends (On Ebay you specify the end time and it is to the minute of when you start your auction)
TRADITIONAL= This an auction where you set the start price and buyers bid on the item for a set amount of time, there is usually only one of the items available for bidding
DUTCH= This is if you have more than one of the same item that you wish to sell at the same time, It uses a feature where buyers choose how many they wish to buy and they state how much they are willing to pay the top bidders for the amount you have available
BUY IT NOW= This is an auction where you pick what the selling price will be and the buyer can just click and buy with out bidding, this option is used in conjunction with the regular bidding and if someone bids before it is bought with the BUY IT NOW then this option disappears
RESERVE= You can use this if you want to start the bidding low but don't want to sell unless it reaches a certain price (I avoid this like the plague because buyers can't see your reserve price and most won't bid figuring it is way too high)
FIXED PRICE= This is if you have a certain amount that you want to sell an item for but UNLIKE Buy it now these auctions are ONLY available by buying them at that price
